Who is this concussion course designed for?
Our course is designed for general practitioners, physiotherapists, osteopaths, and other allied health professionals seeking advanced, evidence-based training in concussion diagnosis and management.
This course is officially endorsed for CPD by the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), Sports Medicine Australia (SMA), and Osteopathy Australia (AOA). It meets AHPRA-aligned competency standards and provides a certificate of completion with 14 CPD hours, which can be used for annual CPD reporting across multiple allied health professions.

Is this RACGP-approved for GP CPD points?
Not yet – RACGP requires providers to deliver and evaluate a number of courses before full endorsement. Our course is designed to exceed these standards and will be eligible for formal RACGP CPD endorsement by late 2025.
GPs can still claim 14 hours as self-recorded CPD activities under the Educational Activities category.

What does the course cover?
The program includes 14 hours of learning:
8 hours of online, self-paced modules
6 hours of in-person practical training
Content includes SCAT6/SCOAT6 training, vestibulo-ocular screening, return-to-play protocols, post-concussion syndrome, and interprofessional communication. -
Can I download and use the SCAT6 form in my clinical practice?
Yes. You can download a digital version of the SCAT6 form directly from our website. It is suitable for use in primary care and allied health settings to assist with standardised concussion assessments.

How is this course different from other concussion training?
This is the most comprehensive, clinically applied concussion course in Australia. It is developed and delivered by a neuroscience PhD and experienced GP, with a focus on hands-on skills, case-based learning, and tools you can use in real practice.
